Terms & Conditions for Hypnotherapy Sessions with Rachael Ives

By booking an appointment, you agree to the following terms and conditions. "Company" and "I" refer to Rachael Ives.

THERAPY AGREEMENT

Successful therapy sessions require your commitment and motivation. Agreeing to actively participate and be fully involved in the process, which may involve self-work if necessary. This includes attending sessions promptly and being dedicated to the therapy process. You confirm that the information you provide is complete and truthful, forming the basis of your treatment.

SESSIONS

Your hypnotherapy session will last approximately 1 to 1½. Please ensure you have enough time for your session. If you are running late, please inform me as soon as possible. I will do our best to accommodate a full session, but it is not guaranteed. Late arrivals will still be charged the full session fee.

FEES

Please enquire about block booking fees. The fee will be agreed upon before your first session, payments are accepted through www.rachaelives.com.

CANCELLATION POLICY

I kindly request at least 24-hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, allowing me to offer the slot to someone else. Sessions cancelled with less than 24-hours notice will incur a charge of up to 50% of the full session fee. If you need to cancel, please call or email me immediately.

REFUND POLICY

Hypnotherapy services are not eligible for refunds due to the allocated time for each session. However, if there is an issue or concern with the session, we may offer a free session. The effectiveness of the therapy depends on various factors, including the client's mindset, commitment to change, and following instructions during and after the session.

DISCLAIMER

While I always strive to help you achieve a successful outcome, I cannot guarantee specific results. Fees are payable for the therapist's time and expertise, regardless of the outcome. Results may vary from person to person. For pain management sessions, any medication changes must be obtained through medical support, and this appointment does not replace medical advice.

STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOUR

I adhere to the professional code of conduct outlined in the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) of which I am a member.

As a client, you agree to:

  • Be drug and alcohol-free during sessions (except medication prescribed by your doctor).

  • Not harm yourself, others, or any property belonging to the Company or others.

  • Treat the Company and therapists with respect and take therapy seriously. Any violent, abusive, or anti-social behaviour may result in the cancellation of current and future sessions and/or treatment.

PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY 

We maintain records in written and electronic form. Your information is securely protected against loss, theft, or unauthorised access. We will not sell or distribute your information unless required by law. You will be added to our mailing lists for newsletters and special offers, and you can unsubscribe anytime. For supervision, training, and CPD, anonymous case histories may be shared with other hypnotherapists. If you wish to opt-out, please inform us via email. Client confidentiality will be respected, except in situations where harm to self, others, or children is disclosed, or if compelled by a court order.

If you have any questions or concerns about your therapy, please discuss them with your therapist first. We value your feedback and aim to provide the best possible experience for you.
